STARSPACE46 CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING ON OCTOBER 28th

StarSpace46, a new Oklahoma City based coworking facility for the technology and entrepreneurship communities, will celebrate its grand opening on October 28th.  Business leaders, technologists, members of the community, and press are invited to attend.

The launch day begins with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30am.  Lunch will be provided by the Super Food Group and chef Justin Maggard.  StarSpace46 will offer free co-working from 1 through 6pm.  In the evening, StarSpace46 will host a sci-fi themed halloween party and Chef Maggard will provide hors d’oeuvres.

In addition to being the largest coworking facility in Oklahoma City serving the technology and entrepreneurship communities, the space will serve as the home of Techlahoma user group meetups which host 400-500 technologists monthly.  These user groups offer free STEM based education and professional development for Oklahomans.  Techlahoma is a rapidly growing nonprofit whose mission is to advance the grassroots technology community in Oklahoma.

Tommy Yi, President of StarSpace46, considers this space to be a key development in the growth of the city, “The future of Oklahoma City’s economy relies on investments in technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation.  StarSpace46 embodies this future.”

Current committed tenants include multiple Oklahoma City based technology startups, satellite offices of national corporations, independent technologists, freelancers and others.

StarSpace46 will be a lead partner in implementing the White House’s Tech Hires initiative in Oklahoma City which seeks to retrain and connect individuals to jobs in high paying tech sector jobs. This private-public partnership is a collaborative effort between city and state officials, private companies, and organizations that provide job training and readiness skills.

StarSpace46 is located at 1141 W Sheridan and the 7,000 square foot facility offers large private offices, fixed desks, coworking memberships, a large event space, and business memberships.
